L 4 Leisure will strictly enforce the following conditions:
1) L 4 Leisure holds public liability insurance cover of £5,000,000 in any one occurrence or series of occurrences arising out of one event.
2) In the event of any non-fulfilment of the contract, the level of liability to the client, performer(s) or supplier(s) or L 4 Leisure is limited to a maximum of the fee stated in
this contract.
3) Payment terms:
- Clients of L 4 Leisure must advise purchase order numbers if applicable prior to the event date, which we will state on our invoice.
- Our payment terms will be strictly enforced and all alterations to this booking agreement must be confirmed to us in writing.
- We must receive payment in full at least seven days prior to the event date unless previously agreed and confirmed by us in writing on our invoice.
- Late payment will incur a 10% surcharge on the overdue amount, and if the services of an external debt collection agency are instigated there will be a further collection fee of 10% of the total amount outstanding plus the debt collection agency costs.
4) Cancellation terms:
Cancellations and amendments must be confirmed in writing and cancellations are subject to cancellation fees including the forfeiture ofany deposit as follows:
- Cancellations between 30 & 60 days of event date: 50 % of total
- Cancellations within 30 days of event date: 100 % of total
5) Extensions to this booking confirmation by way of additions and reschedules involving increases in performance times and other labour charges are subject to additional fees to be agreed as amendments and confirmed in writing accordingly.
6) L 4 Leisure undertakes that the activities provided shall not be dangerous to third parties and if any accident or injury occurs through the default of subcontractors, the sub contractors shall pay any resulting loss or damage incurred by the client. All sub contractors agree that the equipment or service they supply meets the current safety standards in force.
7) L 4 Leisure will make every effort to ensure that all supplies and services are provided as scheduled but cannot accept responsibility in respect of breakdown or non-delivery of equipment for reasons beyond our control. In the event of any service or supply becoming unavailable for reasons beyond the control of L 4 Leisure we will endeavour to secure a suitable and acceptable alternative.
8) In the event of the operators being prevented from operating their equipment due to inclement weather or any other circumstances beyond the operators control, the full fee shall still be payable providing the operators attend the venue. Operators reserve the right to refuse the use of apparatus to any persons they feel may be a hazard to themselves, other persons or the equipment.
